I had the vet out for routine dental check for Buzz yesterday only for him to find a huge tumour in his mouth. Came back and did x rays today, which show a mass basically the length of his upper jaw.
He had teeth done around a year ago and nothing was seen then, so can only assume it's relatively fast growing.
He's eating and working fine at the moment, not fussy in the mouth at all.
Next step is a biopsy to find out if it's malignant or benign. According to vet it's inoperable due to location so only treatment would be steroids and/or chemo.
In shock at the moment, never had an inkling that anything was wrong, he's never looked fitter or more healthy.
Vibes for my beautiful boy please
