Same here, round and round the house like it might be different weather this time…Our family cat used to go to the back door to be let out, take one look if it was raining then trot off to the front door expecting it to be different. Never learned.
That;s a first I think? No pictures?Bought home someone else's mousetrap with dead mouse attached. Honestly can't believe he's done that!![]()
We have a mouse in the utility room, which is really annoying because we have five cats and a dog that makes a big fuss about looking for anything furry. So far it has evaded being caught in the live trap, it can take a biscuit and not set it off.No pictures but Horrid has outdone himself and tried to adopt a pet mouse which we think remained undiscovered for about a week!
He (presumably) brought said mouse into the conservatory and promptly forgot it existed.
It made itself a lovely nest by chewing its way in between the two layers of a fleecey throw which it then made even more comfortable by chewing fluff off a few of the cushions.
It hoarded an impressive quantity of dry cat biscuits (presumably boldly stolen directly from the cat’s bowl during the day as it gets moved into the dining room on a night)
It was given away by its rather messy pooing habits.
It has now been turfed back out into the cold and wet to resume its previous life. Hopefully it won’t attempt to seek Horrid out again for another stay in the mouse hotel!

No way! We also have a cat towelIrish born cats tend to like the rain! It amazes me how our boy will come in while it’s lashing down, saturated…and proceeds to flounce infront of the fire and lick himself dry. We have a ‘drying the cat off towel’ for him he does it so often and expects to sit on me saturated!
Mine is a Norfolk cat so he has no excuses whatsoever for coming in looking like he's been in the pondNo way! We also have a cat towelOurs gets dry then immediately goes back out in it, comes back in 20 mins later, drenched again. He's Welsh though.
