Thank you for tummy pics, and intent little tortoise-watching ears! I really am so envious, I would love the CDS to work its magic if I ever live in a suitable property.

I wouldn’t have said I did, but I’m very glad it happened!Thank you for tummy pics, and intent little tortoise-watching ears! I really am so envious, I would love the CDS to work it's magic if I ever live in a suitable property.
Mine should be outside really. Its laziness. I get her in the other day as the roof on her outdoor enclosure was looking a bit dodgy and one of our dogs is obsessed and i have no doubt would kill her given the chance.Aww! My tortoise has been loving being outside in the hot weather we've had. It's only 2 so mostly still indoors. Oddly the cats aren't terribly interested in it, I've concluded that reptiles don't smell like food![]()
Great name!My little ratdog is obsessed but scared of Cedric so I wouldn't trust them unsupervised. She really doesn't like outside and whenever I've tried to make her an outside enclosure she hates it. She'll happily free range round the garden but fence her in and she digs a hole and refuses to move. Every year I think this is the year I'll make her a fancy Jurassic Park, but every year she says nope. She's about 10 now so hoping she'll be braver with age![]()
Yep except we got her sex wrong, she should really be Cedrina nowGreat name!

He should be the same as Polly the other kitten we haves Both from a feral litter, he was/is the runt of the litterHe’s got huge legs, does Wotsit, do you think he’ll be large cat variety?
I think my ginger feral has a bit of ragdoll in him, I’m not an expert but I’ve been told they’re big, I think he’s going to be on the larger side.
His mum is huge and very fluffy.
Do you know any of Wotsit’s background at all?
Arlo is teeny. He gets bigger in winter! He’s always been a little cat though. My word, Arlo really is small isn't he and Princess Polly is so prettybut little Wotsit is delicious
This is my worry, and why i am a dog person really! Polly is desperate to get outside, she makes a mad dash at every oppertunity. Wotsit on the other had appears not to have noticed there is an outside. So adorable!!! Gah!
Before the Little Weirdo kitten was allowed out in his first spring he was my shadow, went everywhere with me, slept with me etc. I was very flattered (doesn't take much tbf). But apparently I'm not a patch on the Great Outdoors and now I'm lucky to get a cursory visit in the morning to check my meal-making appendages are still attached......
I do worry about them outside sometimes but they clearly need it. It was odd with LWK - he definitely spent at least 2 or 3 weeks outside as a baby when he was hiding in our hedge but I'm sure he came from a home of some sort because he was on his own (we assume dumped in the field gateway). But he didn't seem at all concerned about being inside, showed no interest in escaping, and when it came to introducing outside again a few months later he was terrified of it ( fairly briefly I have to say). This is my worry, and why i am a dog person really! Oh goodness yes, we've never had one go missing but I can see how it would prey on your mind.Agree, I did ask the vet if she thought Polly should be kept inside (whilst really hoping not!) she said she thinks you have to be guided by the cat and that she thought it kinder as she clearly wants to go out to let her.
We lost Arlo for 10 weeks when he was young. The thought of going through that again scares me!
