Wotsits own thread

Hope all the delicate little beans are unharmed! 😮
Luckily yes. Not quite sure how. They were very disappointed at me ruining the fun.
Saw this on Facebook and thought of this thread , how cute
Very cute! Got to love a ginger and white!

My vet said they had a huge influx of feral kittens this year, over 100 and that’s just one practice and only the ones people caught and came in with. The actual amount of kittens born this summer must be astronomical!

Wish we had the room for some more. Poor little things :(

Definitely going to happen. When we had Ava kitten we had to pin the top of the tree to a beam which in fact worked well at stopping the tree falling. It also meant she could climb all the way to the top! Fun! 😂

Today we are mountaineering in the tack room..

OMG squeee!!! Sorry, inner 12yo girl emerging there briefly 😆

They are very very well thank you! Wotsit is big enough to go for his neuter! 🥂 Polly isn't yet I weighed yesterday and ouldnt get an accurate reading but he's absolutely over taken her size wise!
She has taken to yowling outside our bedroom door in the morning, alarms are a thing of the past. I get up and let her in, she's turbo charged first thing ad just desperate for fuss and strokes which is super cute, even Mr P is nudging me to go let her in!
Wotsit follows on a few minutes later to use our bed (which was a leather sleigh type, now wrecked!) as a scratch post which is his morning priority. We then clean the litter tray, after which they both jump in for a poo 🤣 without fail, Its like they are laughing at me!
Pair of monsters!

Ill find some photo's on my phone to update.

They sound purrfect 🤗 sorry couldn't resist. Adorable little nightmares!

Yes decent furniture will be a thing of the past but the upside is that one day they'll bring in a pigeon and dismember it bloodily on the carpet! (Just thinking fondly of the trail of gore through two rooms, up the stairs and onto mum's bedroom rug yesterday morning - never knew pigeons had so much liquid inside them 😭)

The litter tray thing is definitely a thing. All mine have done the same thing when compelled to use a tray - not sure if they just much prefer it clean so hang on till it is, or whether our poking around in 'the place' gets them going in some way

I don’t have problems like that, I have labradors!
No gore is ever wasted! Even whole mice left in the garden are a delicacy!

Arlo weirdly has gone from accepting Polly first and hating Wotsit to literally pinning him down to clean constantly and Wotsit loves it. Polly is way too busy for that nonsense.
Must admit we are mad enough to buy mice for our cats ..... that is so far away from the point of them!

Well done Arlo, being mother with the spit and hankie

Live or dead? Never ever have I heard of anyone buying mice for a cat 😂 that’s dedication.
We are on a farm surrounded by fields. Mice are plentiful for Arlo to find. He’s not a massive hunter, too slow I’d imagine. He’s definitely more Wotsit than Polly speed wise!

Dead! BlackCat isn't a reliable hunter or eater of what she catches when she does, and we've found feeding whole prey seems to keep their teeth spotless. She's 12 and at her last check had no plaque at all. It is nuts though. At the moment there are 200 white mice stuffed into every little gap in the freezers ...

@LadyGascoyne out of interest did Figgy take to using a litter tray easily?
Someone asked me how I trained them both and I didn’t. They just automatically used it.
Someone else we know has just found and brought in two ferals which they have semi tamed but can’t litter tray train.
All I can think is I had both in crates first off so space for bed, food, litter tray. Maybe that’s what helped. (Although Wotsit also slept in his litter tray when caged)
