Would love to meet my boys stable lad or girl!

My little lad was with Walter Swinburns stable for much of his career - he was born in 2000 and came out of racing in 2006 - and flat raced for 4 years.... i have tried to contact the stables, and lucky for me his old owner has contacted me and sent me some photos - but i would love to let his stable lad/girl know what a fantastic job they did with him - he is well mannered but cheeky - he loves hats and always pulls them off your head - he hits you with buckets if you ignore him, or will tip the wheelbarrow over if you turn your back on him lol

but most of all he loves a cuddle, and if you open your arms and say "come on then, have a love" his head will be pushed into your chest and he will stay happy in your arms being fussed for hours and hours !

so if anyone knows how on earth i could find out who looked after my boy i would love to hear from you !

No idea how to get in touch with his stable boy/ girl but it is lovely to hear such a positive report about an ex-race horse, so much is negative.

Gleek and Jockmaster i have pm'd you and thank you fany for your kind words and i would certainly have another ex racer- he really is the most laid back and willing little horror you could meet and he is such a character, just thinking of his antics brings a smile to my face !

My old horse was a p to p horse. We took him racing at Brockelsby (sp?) and after the race this lad ran over to us and said is that Carson city? It turns out he had looked after him many years before when he was a NH hunt horse!! The lad was lovely but unfortunately we didn't get alot of time to talk to him. Good luck with your search!
