I use a pair similar on my old horse also found magnetic boots work better.

i have some magnetic fetlock wraps so use them plus they have boosters so could attach them if need be.

I was recommended the snuggy boots for an arthritic - they are super cosy thick fleece and they are big enough on the hinds to give some warmth to hocks. I've found all snuggy stuff really good quality - think they're on sale at the moment too.

Ditto Blair regarding snuggyhoods leg wraps/travel boots. They're £15 in the sale at the moment.
