I felt completely at home on my horse, despite having barely ridden for nearly 15 years. I drove home then rang back saying I’d have her. I still have her 16 years later. My plan was always to build up to eventing her and sell her on, but she’s without doubt my soul horse and I’ve had so much fun with her. She was the second horse I’d tried, I got off after 5 mins with the first one because I didn’t feel right on it (think I offended the owner a little, but it wasn’t that there was anything wrong with the horse, it just wasn’t for me).

I bought my cob after seeing it hack past looking jolly. Only one I viewed and I could only ride it being lead round the school when I went to try it as I had a badly smooshed knee not long out of a brace and an impending operation on it. All very un BHS but the pony is an utter star ?

Exactly how I bought mine, first horse viewed and only one viewing. I went on gut instinct and despite a few bumps along the way he is the horse I thought he would be!
