I did a letter drop when I initially moved here, first letter found me a field and a really good friend who I ride out with now, subsequent letters have found a further two fields to rent.
I have had a fair few ignored though but at least I tried.
I always keep them polite and lighthearted, I also make sure wherever I rent is kept in tip top condition and pay out of my pocket for harrowing and rolling etc.
I've just moved the boys to 24-7 turnout but will continue to pay rent on winter field and stables, am arranging muck heap removal and rolling etc so it will be left immaculate
