I love my Spanish horse

some late night musings really, some of you may remember my post a couple of weeks back about a particularly antisocial and unfriendly yard and its yo, and whether i should move my pre stallion to a busier but much friendlier place.
Anyway decision hasnt been made thus far but think today may have just tipped the balance in favour of moving. Basically i found a lump on Res's rectum the other day, and being a grey automatically called vet out who came today, took biopsy and will find out friday the results but is most likely melanomas, not unusual i know but only had him a month and he's only just turned 7
So, i text to yo night before saying that basically getting vet out can you leave him in today, didnt get reply which fair enough i thought as only text to let know whats going on and didnt specify what it was about at that stage. After vet leaves and try ringing yo again to basically say whats gone on before she goes to work (another issue as horses left on own all day long) no answer, try again, still no answer to leave text saying he's been doped but is ok and can she please keep an eye on him, and only turn out if she's around and can make sure he stays settled. I have to leave for work at this point as couldnt get whole day off, but come back later to find he's been out in field all day, has sweated up so prob been pratting around as he often does and wound has bled slightly more down his leg, although thankfully not enough to call vet back out again.
So would you be annoyed at this? I never got a reply or call back regarding what the vet was even coming out for, she turned him out without checking it was ok with me first when in my mind id asked her not to, and left him alone all day knowing he'd been sedated and had a lump removed that needed stitches. Luckily didnt have much and had come round pretty well or i wouldnt have left him at all, but im paying her for full care and just doesnt feel thats what he's getting even when something like this happens. Its not just that but also her blatant lack of care, compassion or interest in a customers horse really does pee me right off, not once did she ask if he was ok, what it was about or did anything other than chuck him in the field despite me saying not to
