If I had my mare out on livery for foaling then yes, I would actually really like that. But given I like mine out as much as possible, then generally speaking, no.
I have my horses at home but have a system like that. It is a double edged sword however. I once sat for over an hour watching it because one of the dogs hadn't shown her face and I started to worry. Sometimes you are better off not being able to see!!
I guess it would be nice to have, not sure I'd pay that much extra for it though. I know I'd end up just sitting watching what he was doing all day! lol xx
A nursery I used to work with had CCTV that you could view at anytime. However they only paid when they wanted to view it, a bit like a mobile top up card.
I think I would rather Pay as I view rather then having to pay weekly for something I would only use every so often.
I am sure i know of a yard that does this, i think its at Elstree or Radlett or somewhere like that. Its a bit of a "footballers wives" sort of yard, full livery only, VERY smart indeed, and i am sure every box has CCTV so you can log on and see your horse any time (which would imply to me that the horses don't go out much).
TBH, it isnt a facility I would value highly, so wouldn't be prepared to pay a lot more for it.
Aha, i found the yard i was thinking of. Its Netherwylde at Radlett, and it is dead posh. Part livery is £171/week, full is £220!!! They have webcams in every box.
