I have a bit of a dilemma. I have a youngster who came back today after her initial training to ride. Delighted to say she is doing well so far. This youngster is a particularly difficult one to fit a saddle. My saddles has none that fit and non of mine fit. The trainer has one that he has owned for years but never used as it fits nothing. Until my youngster came along! It is an old but genuine western. It is not bad but showing its age a bit. It is comfy and fits me and my girl.
Rather than keep it for many more years the trainer has reluctantly offered it to me as he would rather it be used and he knows I am struggling.
Sorry this is long. Now for the question.
He is asking more than my saddler thinks it is worth BUT it fits.
Do I buy it knowing it fits otherwise I will struggle and probably pay more, or do I wait it out to find better value?
