www.equus-kinsky

I dont know what this is but I ride at the equus kinsky yard in Czech Rep. Their site looks very similar in design to this one. Maybe this is their UK agent or something. The Czech location breeds, but only a few foals a year, but definitely not any miniatures, unless they're very very small and escaped my eye :)
 
A friend of mine flew out to Czech to look at their horses at the stud there. She said the stud was just amazing with the most gorgeous stables she had ever seen. Sadly the palomino she went to view moved stiff behind so she ducked out of that one.

I can't think of the Kinsky stallion's name but he is breathtaking to look at. I am sure there were pics on this forum of him 'at play'. He is truly a magnificent horse.

yes this is the uk part.
i have bought falabellas off them and i have faleballes being sold by them.
fabulous stud in kent.
stunning horses which are very adaptable
kamilla is the persons name
 
Stunning he was not, when we got him he was 14hh and his weight was 230kg the same as my 11.2 hh pony, he was covered in rainscalled, and so poor he could bearly stand, the vet advised us to limit his grazing because he was so poor, and the affect it would have on his already weaked joints. He may never be a riden horse, due to all of his problems his atlas is misalined this could have been sorted out when it happened, but it was left. Our horse is stunning, but only because what we have done with him
 
Well the horse I am looking at in the morning.. was in fact bought from this stud a week ago.... the lady who is selling her now said she felt so sorry for her.. so she bought her out of sympathy.. unfortunately this lady has now lost her job and can no longer keep the mare who is in foal (apparently)

Will let you know if I get her....
 
I have! Kamila Bauer Lewis is a business associate of mine. The Queen has some Kinsky horses I believe and I understand Zara Philips has a youngster too.
 
They do have an awful lot of ragwort in their fields (see the photos of the foals/youngsters for sale on their website)... No wonder their horses are not healthy - if they have nothing to eat they will eat the ragwort!
 
They have nothing to do with the Czech Kinsky stud. Equus Kinsky International have been selling horses as Kinsky horses, but most of them could probably never qualify as kinsky horses and have the right kinsky horse papers. I have heard that their mares are being bred with unlicensed stallions and then sold as kinsky horses, even though the foals do not qualify for Kinsky studbook. That's why they are selling them so cheap.
 
Well I now have the mare...she was a little underweight... I rang the stud and left a message and in all honesty she did call me back... confirmed she had ringworm.... and was probably blind in one eye... said she had been covered by a cremello stallion but not been scanned....due April....?

She looks to be roach backed and not the best in confirmation...she came with a Pet ID passport and no other papers such as a covering certificate...

She is a very sweet natured and I bought her more as a project to bring on so watch this space....
 
Poor animals. Whatever you do if you see any animal in this sort of condition and decide to buy it dont pay the asking price. I say this as they are making money out of them, they cant be bothered to get them into a happy state and all your doing is fuelling their trade. In fact offer them meat money.

Its pretty disgusting they are covering their mares that seem to be medically unfit. Well done for buying the mare hope if she is in foal that the foal is ok.

Well the lady I bought her from had only got her from this stud a week before but as I said she had lost her job so needed to sell her quick and she had paid enough for her... I realistically only paid for her what she was worth in meat money (not very much) Will put up some pics very soon... she certainly looks to be in foal.. and is very sweet natured.... its amazing what some good food & tlc can do....
 
Mine is so sweet as well, it is such a shame, hopefully u will have a lovely little foal, mine also has a pet id passport, with no parents on which I fully understand as he was a colt.

I think it's the shadow in the picture as none of the other pictures look like it's been clipped (although even with my contacts in I'm as blind as a bat!!!)

I seen the real Kinsky horses at Equitana in march and they were amazing (although i am aware that they only take the best one's to these things).
When I read up on them I thought there was 1 stud in London that was affiliated with the Czech Republic, i wonder if it would be worthwhile contacting the original stud if someone is selling inferior horses as Kinsky horses?
