1) 12 yr old pony has had laminitis for many years and has a rotated pedal bone. Pony is very lame in walk. You can't afford the operation vets have suggested could help. You can't afford/disagree with long term use of bute. Pony is stabled 24/7 with occasional use of outdoor pen, similar size to stable.

I have said that imo pony should be pts, but owner considers this cruelty (see 2!). Would RSPCA be interested in this sort of case?
2) you know someone is keeping paralysed (broken neck) and broken winged pigeons alive in shoe boxes, feeding them with a syringe of food. The house roof is also covered in pigeons. Given that pigeons are considered vermin, do you think any authorities be interested in this?
