x-ray of horse with bit in the mouth.

Can any one recommend any information source concerning horses who have had x-rays whilst the bit is in their mouth?

Scuse my ignorance, but why would the horse be xrayed with a bit? Is the xray of the mouth, or another part of the body?

Prob to see exactly where the bit sits in the mouth anatomically
