Thread in comp riders say horse and rider both up and fine, rumours indicate that the horse broke down.

Oh, cheers for the CR thread mention, hadn't looked in there as noticed this first, but this thread seems to be more about 'which horses are injured/might die'...There are some terribly morbid people on here aren't there?!

I'm off!!

The horse before her didn't look right at all.
Bet there's a few deaths without being too morbid!!

Well, gee, I'd hate to see what you are like when you are being too morbid

Any horse or rider receiving medical attention at Greenwich will have screens put up round them, it was in the planning. Stops the public gawping at them and making silly speculations (well except on the internet of course). Horses are NOT to be led back through the crowds (Health and Safety don't ya know!) so will be taken off course in the horse ambulance, as will any riders with even minor injuries (though not in the horse ambulance :p). Same happened to a friend and their horse at an FEI event yesterday, and they were not seriously injured either.

I'm not sure all the scaremongering is necessary

Fab rides from the Brits :D C'mon Tina! :D

I've given up on the BBC coverage, now I have my PC on I can watch it without having to channel hop and can also rewind and see rounds again and bits I missed! Fabulous round from Tina and although I don't like to see fallers Australia has made our task for a medal a little easier! Anyone else think the German riders are exceptionaly fast?

ah... thanks for that, I was going to ask if any horse that fell, or unseated its rider got a lift back to the stables, as it looks like there are far to many people about to lead them back..

Well I dont normally watch eventing, but Ive sat in front of the tv all day, bar popping out to feed the horses, (glad they live at home) really enjoyed it, but I did notice a lot of horses slip, and that poor guy from Japan coming off after being in the lead, he must be gutted.. I even watched all the dressage.. woo hoo.. looking forward to the SJ tomorrow... (I only normally watch SJ, but shall be watching Eventing more now)

GO team GB :D
