Had a brilliant day out with my joy xc schooling. Started a little tense, but on a scale of Eddieness, it was relatively mild, chilled once he'd popped a few small fences.

Noticed my lower leg is slipping back, not sure if this is me, him or the saddle. It's never done this on any other horse. Not sure if I'll manage to get my stirrups any shorter though....

looks like a good day :)

My lower leg issue was 100% caused by my saddle but I'm only a case study of 1 ;)

Love your pony - so smart. As a long-legger on a short pony, I also have lower leg issues and can only ride so short so feel your pain, though cannot help as haven't figured out a fix yet!

How big is the pony, and what size PE boots do you use? I'd love some for mine, but they all seem to be so long!

He's 14.3. They are a size small. My 14h has also worn them but she'd probably be better in an extra small.

Fustratingly my leg is absolutely fine on my 14h and my 13.1h which makes me lean towards the saddle....
