So, some of you may have seen my posts wondering about whether I should move to a yard or not. We had the high class comp yard with 7 weeks in during Winter and then Mrs (Roy) Cropper who offered full livery for £65 a week but wanted my very good doer lad to go out alone in a 15 acre field for a half day all year
Well I would like to report that I have found the perfect yard. 5 minutes from home, he can be turned out with a pony, people to ride with, lovely school with lights, huge stable, lovely people, 5 horses in total, hay is £1.50 cheaper and shavings are £2 cheaper, owner on site, can get onto bridleway that runs to the side of the yard, lots of grass but can restrict, owner will turn out for me during the week.
WOOOO HOOOOO.
Now I just have to tell current YO - I don't want to. I love my yard but have to leave for one or two reasons.
Any advice to make breaking the news go as smoothly as possible?
Thanks for all of the advice on the other yards, this one is so perfect I didn't need any this time!
