... if you are anything like mine, thank you so much. YOs get a lot of stick, but there are some real superstars out there.
I (and other liveries) can't get to the yard because of the snow and she is turning out and bringing the horses in, mucking them out, feeding them... she even called me today to tell me not to come as the roads nearby are unsafe.
I absolutely trust the YO and her staff to look after my horse - the yard is immaculately kept, horses' individual needs are met and we can have as much straw and hay/haylage as we like, with no extra surcharge when the horses are kept in. The livery probably is a little (and I do mean a little) more expensive than elsewhere, but the peace of mind is worth every penny.
So... who else appreciates their YOs? Any others going above and beyond in the current weather that you'd like to 'out'?
