Its been a year since i first met my lovely boy. I had just got fed up of lessons as they never had a horse for me (too tall and heavy for most of the 14hh cobs that seem to dominate the riding school scene here! and too nervous to ride the better younger horses) so i part loaned him twice a week. Eventually took him on full loan.
The smile on my face the first time i rode him is testiment to how i felt about him. He was not easy on the ground, but that was not a problem to me - my issues were ridden and he never ever put a foot wrong.
Finally bought him a couple of months ago cause he was just too good for me. Hes not perfect by far, but he is the horse i have always imagined i would have.
So far i have done a xmas ride, went to the beach, done a small sj class and riding class, been to Trec and generally turned my confidence about 100%! I owe this horse a very lot
Picture is of him the day he came - he had been out on loan and just threw in a field i believe - it took a long time to get him back to weight!
All better now! He has a spark in his eye now
