You faveourite equine smell?

Thought I might be weird posting "Roast chicken smelling muzzle" glad it's not just me! Your own pony horse smells best too.
When I went to the races with non-horsey friends they just couldn't understand me sniffing the aroma of horses parading in the paddock with such glee!

That wonderful sweet smell of horse (when they aren't covered in poo)
Hoof oil
Bloom shampoo
Hot feed in winter
sweet hay
leather tack
the smell of bruised grass at shows
Think i may need sectioning. Most women must prefer something more fragrant.Lol

The hot dry smell of corn chamomile crushed under hooves down a field track. I associate this smell with too-bright sunshine, ox-eye dasies, blousy red poppies and huge blue thistle flowers.

Sickly sweet water mint and meadow-sweet. The smell of catching ponies on the water meadow in summer.

I love all horsey smells but my favourtites are:
The smell of a sweaty horse
Tack that's just been cleaned
Hoof oil
New hay
The smell of the stable
Bruised grass, this always reminds me of shows :)
My cobs breath after eating carrots or polos :D
I also love the smell of my cob when I've just washed him with Dirty Beastie shampoo :P

Well I have to check the roast chicken smell out! Apart from general "horse" the mix of tack, feed, etc in a good tack shop is pretty good!
I wonder if the smell of horse gets our brain chemistry (endorphins?) going like the chocolate effect?
