You know when someone's a hardcore, pro rider when.......

You get the 'horse riders' shaped shoulders, and upper arms, if you do venture out of horsey attire, as CCP says to 'dress up' to do the weekly shop, you find that the arms on blouses dont fit, the tops of your arms make you look like the Incredible Hulk trying to burst out. Strappy tops/ dresses have to be chosen carefully to compliment the shoulder size which makes you at least 3x broader than you should be.

and

The hat silk should be at least 15 yrs old and so faded and battered the original colour is long forgotten.

^^^^ This but I play tennis too which exacerbates the problem!

I could never be hardcore - I hate rain ;) and my hands go numb so I have to wear 3 pairs of gloves! And as for Pro not in a million years but admire those who are.

My hardcore pals wear vests in the winter LOL but thats for yard work so yes I do think big shoulders and muscley backs come from all the cr*p we shovel, water buckets and gigantic haylage nets :D not to mention carring kids over fields (one on each hip) and housework.

Pro's tend to aquire attributes of their horses but then if you live breathe etc horse you are going to smell, look (covered in hair / sweat / mud) and talk / laugh like one :D just the jealousy talking LOL

When you do press ups in the gym next to the guys, and even though you put your feet up on a step and do it on your fingertips to make it harder, still do 40 without breaking sweat, when they've stopped at about 15...

So glad it's not just me! Not to mention horse rider's thighs (or maybe I just need to cut back on the cakes!) :D
