Decided it was time to give my boy his annual belly shave last night - he's not the bravest but tries his hardest.
Normally use my mums clippers as they're way quieter than mine, but didn't have them to hand and thought I would try mine again this year.
He was clearly concerned (flared nostrils, arched neck and pretty rooted to the spot) but with lots of reassurance and time outs with treats for good behaviour we completed a respectable chaser clip.
I just felt proud of the fact that he trusts me enough to attempt to deal with an experience he's not 100% confident with.
Anyone else have these moments with their neds when you realise that it's the trust between you that gets you through things, however small or big?
