Your horses most annoying habits

Lazy as hell when it matters.
Tickleish in between back legs and under her belly- really annoying when I have to clip her.
She has a nervous twitch like she has a fly on her nose and shakes it off.
Occaisionally snapping her leadrope.
She unies herslef- doesnt matter what knot you do...

Amber- has to stop evertime a fly lands on her to remove it when being led. Funnily enough they dont bother her when she is loose. Also sticking her head in the air when trying to put her bridle on.

Jethro- has to be involved with everything you are doing, very cute but ocasionally annoying like when trying to groom Amber

Binky- likes chewing leadropes, headcollars, brushes, toogles on clothes and also likes to nibble/ lick my bum when picking his feet out. Not so funny when he has just had a drink and I ended up with slimey water down my butt crack

Jack boxwalks when left alone and poops a lot when left on his own (so try not to leave him on his own although he is getting better from when he first arrived)

Oh and a dirty bugger at night looks like he has had a party when I go and muck out

My horse will try and wee or poo over her grooming kit and brushing boots while im grooming her. Shes got them several times and its disgusting!!

Shes also got a thick mane that looks lovely when its lying flat on the right side. She doesnt like it like that though and every time I smooth her mane down she will shake her head and mess it up again, grrrrrr.

Oh and she hates flys. If one tiny fly comes within 10 meters of her head while im riding she will wiggle her ears again and again, she tells me she couldnt possible concentrate/work/do anything I want her to while theres a fly in the vicinity. In the field however shes happy to have a whole swarm crawling over her eyes and she couldnt care less!

The Appys seem to enjoy spitting water over people. The old girl (no longer with us) once managed to fill her mouth with water, carry it right across the bos and then drop it down the gap between her jeans and her back!

The current Appy is trying to fill the old ones shoes, only yesterday when filling the water buckets, she filled her mouth and managed to get me right in the ear with a mouth full! The current one managed to spit water on my boots the day we bought her, in fact it was sealled the deal.

kay kicks the door when shes expecting any kind of food.other than she shes no annoying habits and the kicking is MUCH better than it was.
pig hardly has any annoying habits.in fact i dont think she was any
bey sometimes still thinking she was walk off to look at something when you have one of her feet to pick out lol.and she sometimes kicks the door too.
but none of them are bargy and they all well mannered.

IF we are waiting for the school and watching a rider finish a ride, Mattie looks at the horses like "i can do that!"
actually we can't but we do a brilliant impression of the spanish riding school...

!
and he stalks me across the field....its very un-nerving when your poo picking in the dark

In the winter Angel is out in the day, in overnight. Also, she has a bladder the size of the North Sea. So she stands in the field with her legs crossed until you bring her in, head goes down into the feed bowl and bladder lets go. I've tried feeding her outside her nice clean stable but no, she just waits until she's inside. Gonna buy a HUGE cork this winter.

Lennox -
1. Biting ( you think he's being affectionate and then takes a chunk out of you)
2. chewing - Ropes, buckets, clothes, rugs, other horses, me....
3. Tipping full wheel barrows over then trying to climb in them.
4. Pouring water over me
5. Biting the end of the hose whilst I am bathing.
6. Spotting the invisible horse eating orges when we are hacking
God, I could go on and on....

Apart from the cribbing with the ingrained ability to take fencing down I think with the gelding it is the tendency to go to bite you when doing rugs, girth , grooming or sometimes for no good reason. The mare definatly her adversion to mounting blocks
