Your user name.............

Hello, Im a long time lurker first time poster!

My username comes from the boy that broke my heart about 10 years ago :( I have missed him everyday since and I have finally decided to trace him. Ill post more in the stolen/trace section :)
 
i stole the name from the name my bf chose for a football forum he goes on haha! and 2 because there's already an otter!

I was just trying to think of a password one day for my logon on password for my PC at work and Applecart came to me - "don't upset the applecart". The 14 on the end is the number of my house.

WOW that's the second time in two days I have heard about this song - yesterday I asked the name of the newest foal to my boy (up in Scotland - via AI) and she said she was called "OOR Alli Balli Bee" (sp) after the famous song - which I had not heard of before! Apparently all Scottish children get to know it at school?? (see pic of filly on my profile she's gorgeous).

My user name is LazyS because my set-up is called LazyS Appaloosas... The 'S' is supposed to sit on its side (as in 'lazy') but obviously that is a bit difficult in type! I am Lazy and called Susan (though most often known as Sue) a Lazy Susan is a lounging couch! After I decided to call myself this we were thinking of doing a website, but still not got round to it, we discovered there was a LazyS Appaloosas in the USA! I still use it though.

My dad used to sing that song to me too! To be honest, I never knew if he'd made it up or not. My sister still calls me 'Ali' even though that's not my name.

thistledonicely - because it does, ahem, do nicely as a username. I love a good pun :)
 
Nudibranchs are brightly coloured and patterned sea slugs... OH and I are keen divers and spend a lot of time looking for them (and photographing them) on coral reefs :)
 
Minka was the name of our cocker spaniel. She was a darling but sadly got hit by a car. She had all sorts of nicknames, stinkyminky, stinkyminkymoo and minkymoo. So I chose the last one so it didn't mean I got called stinky! :)
 
KellysHeroes because my share mare is called Kelly (although "StroppyButBeautiful" might be more appropriate at the moment! :rolleyes:) and she was a rescue from the travellers when she was 2 - in foal, unhandled, a bit wild and difficult. So in a way, we are her heroes for bringing her to where she is today :)
I have a jacket with "Kelly & Keely" on it and people always get confused between me (Keely) and our horse (Kelly)!

My nickname is Elle, lots of friends know me by that name and it was all I could think of!

It was sheer coincidence that a couple of months after I registered on here I got a horse called Ellie.
