Haha fortunately I have not been organised enough to pack them away, just sort them (dirty/clean).
The weather I feel is picking on me specifically. I have been to try a few horses this week, going to see one tomorrow at 9am. Before it was arranged weather forecast was for sunny intervals. Literally as soon as I put the phone down I refreshed the weather forecast and it was heavy rain!! Same story for the others, its a good thing I'm not a fair weather rider. Come back summer!
I felt extremely guilty this morning having chucked my mare out naked with her muzzle on last night - hadn't checked the forecast properly and it was torrential rain all night. She was rather sad and hungry this morning
I rescued a shetland yearling a few months ago, she had a massive winter/foal coat but was skin and bones underneath. As it was so hot and she was upto weight I clipped her out as she was overheating and had to keep hosing her.....now shes got a mediumweight on.....so typical when the fluff comes off it gets so cold again
Well it seemed to be just wet but fairly mild still but tonight the wind has got a real chill to it as well. Thanks god they've all now got proper field shelters..the little donkey who lives in next door field prob won't even be tempted out of his with a bucketful of carrots Polos and feed at the moment!!
Enjoy the wet weather riding Snowy
