Need some advice please!

My new recue dog has itchy bits and scabby bits :o he has been checked by the vet and we are giving him a few weeks to settle before trying anything more than good diet and tlc. Although we did treat with Advocate just in case he brought some lodgers :p

Vet agreed it is most likely stress related although quite possibly could be allergies.

I am feeding him fish4dogs and giving salmon oil with it. The redness is calming down a little but he is still scratching lots.

I was wondering whether to give him a suppliment like Yumega Plus http://www.lintbells.com/products/yumega-plus or whether a probiotic like Biotic Bionic http://www.poochandmutt.com/bionicbiotic/ would be more appropriate  or whether just applying aloe gel for a couple of weeks is best

I have no experience of either of these products but they sound good :o and like they should help!

Or should I just leave alone for a few weeks

Also many apologies I will do a thread about Buddy the rescue staffie later

I hear the pooch and mutt stuff is excellent.

If you've improved his food, you need to give it (and the supplement) a good six weeks to work visibly.

I'm quite horrified that there are no pictures!

Fish for dogs is one of the best

I've used Bionic Biotic its great, I believe they are the same company who makes Blue Chip, if thats anything to go by and I don't know how I found that out lol

I also give mine tinned pilchards/sardines (in tomato sauce but I wash it off) once a day
