I have a couple of pairs of dublin, river boots and pinnacle and use them for all sorts, mucking out, walking dogs, camping, concerts, watching grassroots fball...... had the river boots over 3 years now and as mentioned in other posts i wash them off, mainly after mucking out to stop them...

I work FT and have 2 children under 8, weather permitting in winter i ride 3-5 times a week (4-6 during summer), i go up once the kids are in bed during the week. I'm fortunate that we have school with lights and apart from a lesson once a week for an hour i can make a 30 min session productive...
I've used Harry dabbs waffle girth for a year or so now and really like it, as does my horse, much freer through his shoulder. My saddler comments on what a fab girth it is every time she visits us.
Agree with all the above, i've had to re-school mine, he had a very high head carriage (think a llama) and on the forehand, we're now 9 months in and still plodding through it, we have walk and trot cemented and we are now working on canter BUT it has taken a long time, weekly lessons, ground...
Really like the turtle top, transitioned my heavy on the forehand horse from a pelham to this in a few weeks, been in it since February and not looked back.
