Luckily this is his general diet anyway, which is good because I shouldn't have to really change it to give him the support he needs. You're right about constant monitoring.
This sounds exactly the same so really glad to hear your experience has been positive. He's only a baby (4) so has all his life ahead of him, just hoping for the same outcome x
Under GA, not a standing flush. They did keyhole to check everything and removed a very small cartilage chip (vet says this shouldn't cause any issues going forward), and flushed the joint.

That's interesting that you didn't notice any weight gain. Can I ask how much you were feeding daily? Ahh bless, yeah it's such a strong flavour. Luckily mine seem to be enjoying for now but they are only having a bit at the moment just to get used to the taste!
