That's where i'm based, they have xc course, indoor/outdoor school, show jumps etc all year turnout, DIY livery available with option to have your horse turned out in the morning or full livery, and the owners are lovely, Hope that helps :)
I have a Bates close contact jump with Cair and I love it! My horse is half Arab so has quite a wide back and this saddle fits him very well. I also have stupidly long legs but my 17.5 inch saddle seems to hold them really well and you can move the knee blocks! Also it is super comfy, everyone...
He is identical to mine! exactly the same colour / height, What is his breeding? Mine is by an arab called Master Chance and is from the Pantywaun Stud
I ride in a Bates close contact jump saddle for everything, My mum rides in a GP (she doesn't jump) She borrowed my saddle the other day and absolutely loved it! She now wants one herself to just hack and school in!
As the title states really, i'm entering my boy into a dressage test in Feb, he is a little lively at times so I wan't to have my body protector on, but it doesn't fit under my show jacket, is it ok to wear it over the top? The dressage comp is being held under British Dressage Rules, thanks in...
Hi,
Sorry in advance for the long post. Basically I had a 12 year break from horses, was a good rider when I was younger and bought my new boy 18mths ago as an unbroken 5 yr old, apparently the girl I purchased him off had done everything with him but was too scared to actually sit on him...
That may be true as my youngster has only just been broken in and he only makes the noise for the first few minutes and then he relaxes and will trot around quite relaxed and without the noise!
My boy has started making that 'noise' when trotting - apparently a sign that he needs cleaning? Something I have never done before.... and I can't imagine him taking to it too well! Without being too rude I take it you have to get right up there?
My horse suffered really badly last winter with mud fever, I had to keep him in for ages (which he hates!) Last winter I smothered his legs with Sudocrem and I was just wondering if there was anything better to use to prevent mudfever? I have heard that liquid paraffin is good? Thanks in advance :)
