I wouldn't keep a foal on a yard where there are no others - they need buddies the same age to play with (which also gives the mare a bit of a break). Where in the country are you as I'm sure people could recommend good studs which could accommodate your mare and foal.

Looking at the pictures of the foal I am not convinced she is a buckskin (and she's certainly not dun if neither of her parents carry the dun gene). The only way to know for sure if she has inherited the cream gene from her sire is to send a hair sample off for DNA testing - it's cheap and easy...

Have you got any pics of the mare and a link to her pedigree? Really hard to suggest anything without seeing those. What would be the three things you would like to improve most? And has she competed? Any strengths/weaknesses under saddle or temperament wise?
