Has anyone got one of these? Ive spied it it reduced on ride away... am after a waterproof jacket that I could ride in but looks stylish enough to wear out places with jeans. I like the belted styles and dont think this particular one has a belt but it seems cut the same way if that makes sense.
hmm, reading the description it’s a ‘fashion’ item for use on special occasions so I doubt they expect you to be cleaning it other than a wipe over with a damp cloth?
this is wonderful to read :)
lucky daughter with sensible parents (there are many who appear on here who aren’t), most refreshing :) From little acorns and all that :D I started out much the same way, 30 years ago eek, your description of the walk out brought back memories.
if it were me I would work from the ground up. Get someone in to help you with groundwork and a longline, doing all the usual things; backing up, yielding etc. Then you can work your horse on the long line in circle, lunging. You can then progress to working with other ‘guinea pig’...
£8/9 for a jacket!? i sold a tweed jacket , postage was £6.40, for recorded delivery. It ended up costing me less than that for the actual posting however it was very well packaged. The buyer left me feedback complaining the postage was high! Flippin cheek.
she shouldn’t have admitted to doing it to make money and as such, if you send a copy of her message to ebay i suspect you will be reimbursed some of the postage.However.. I always charge slightly over for postage. Say i know the item will be a medium parcel and £6.50 to post (or whatever...

The other pic of DryRots is lovely too - I cant see what anyone at all would be apoplectic about a 3y old and 4yr old being taken for a potter to a beach and into the water though:confused3: how odd:confused3: I would have thought that was...
Are there any reasons that a horse wouldnt really sweat much?
The horse in question was out of work all winter, so unfit coming back into work a couple of months ago. Workload has been being gradually increased but this horse never breaks a sweat! She is drinking plenty, on a vit&min balancer...

FWIW you would be far better turning her out overnight and keeping her in through...
If it was a property with a hundred acres and the footpath was at the far side and able to be fenced off, then maybe, just maybe. However on your average equestrian property with about 6 acres or so, then hell no. I cant understand why anyone would even consider it ?! Fiddes, did you know about...
sorry to hyjack, Im interested in this.. Ive not heard of it before. Im naturally skeptical until convinced otherwise, I cant see any list of ingredients?
interesting viewpoints..
Moomin1, I suspect you would have had a meltdown had you been me a few years back now. I was still riding during my pregnancy (my own horse) and having FW lessons with a very supportive RI who has taught many ladies who are expecting. I booked into a lesson at a clinic...
which saddle do you have? Ive found the BC Wexford very like you describe.
Would have thought the ‘fit the horse/fit me’ was a given tbh...
My top 5 would be (not necessarily in any order)

2:A nice rich, dark havana colour
3:A...
