I'm no hero and I do get off sometimes and walk past things(not many though)but do make sure I get back on when I've passed it!
My confidence isn't great at times so I surround myself with people who do make me feel confident and find I'm not really even noticing things anymore!
Well we went for a lovely relaxing ride on the common again today and rode quietly along the track that we fell on(something I felt we needed to do)
We came across a lovely sand track and had a trot but he went into a canter and I trusted him to look after me and he did,was totally buzzing!
Thankyou!
Sammy is such a lovely horse and a pleasure to own.
Gonna give him a few lessons in picking his feet up,I swear he could trip over his own shadow!!..lol
I went for a lovely ride a couple of weeks ago and my horse tripped and fell, neither of us were hurt but when I asked my horse for a canter today I just froze and couldn't do it!
Anyone help with any advise please,I love him and trust him and he was such a gent and totally knew I panicked!

My proudest moment was our second time at a show and got 2nd in best combination.
She wasn't there to see me so luckily didn't part with any money she just offered the advice!
thought I would give it a try to see if she liked it and clearly she showed me she didn't!!!
she happily hacked out today in her loose ring and will be staying in it too!
I think I listened too much to a horse whisperer!(she wasn't even there for me..lol)
Feel a bit silly and sad that I've upset my horse!!!!(won't be doing that again)
Have taken her to shows and done classes with no hassle in the loose ring so I have to say "if it ain't broke don't try to fix it"
I have recently put my horse in a French link fulmer(as advised) and since I have done this she refuses to open her mouth to except it and also when I asked her for canter on a lesson she threw herself in the air!
totally out of character as she is so sweet!
she has a new saddle, her teeth are...
