Thanks Jules 12, my horse also is exactly as described on the information for CC&C, I will keep persavering, he does seem a little better in some situations. I think I thought it was going to be a quicker fix that it is! But it sounds like small improvements eventually make a big difference :D
Jules 14 how long did it take until you saw results at shows with CC&C? Ive had my horse on it for 4 weeks now and it seemed to have an effect after the first week but then this week he has been really spooky at competitons and also at home (he isnt usually spooky at home)! I put him on it...
Anybody know what the BE90 course is like at Cumwhinton? Is it the one with lots of carved wooden animals? Do you jump them and are they natural or brightly coloured? Any scary fences? My horse has just started eventing so dont want anything particularly spooky!! And what is the SJ like? Thanks
Are there any fences spooky ie lots of flowers or out of the ordinary fences? I need a ncie course to get my horse going, its not the height just the dressing of fences mainly! What was the SJ like? Thanks
We had a horse that rolled in stinging nettles, it made him go mad, rearing, galloping, thrashing around etc. He was covered in bumps all over. The vet told us to hose him down every 10 mins and stand him in for a few hours. It made him seem almost paralysed when it 1st happened, very wobbly. If...
Snap, my horse is just the same, isnt it frustrating! Where do you get Brewers yeast from? I have recently discovered Equifeast products and thought might give it a try, anyone tried it or got any opinions on it?
Just wondering what was the outcome for Equifeast, I just discovered it the other day and Im thinking of trying it for my spooky, slightly backwards thinking but talented event horse!
Id definitely do Richmond then probably Beckwithshaw! Skipton is a course that you either love or hate and a lot of people who event around here dont seem too keen on Skipton!
I agree the open course is meaty but the novice is a fab course! Ive done it many times and there are variations every year. It is educational but kind and a great galloping course. Id def recommend it. :)
Great thanks, have you used that particular safety tap? Or has anyone else? I found a different one but people had commented that the screw can be wonky in the plastic in some and that particular one wasnt very good but this one is a different one! I would also be interested in the difference...
I am going to event my new horse this season at unaff comps then hopefully a few BE events! I was just wondering weather to have stud holes or not? How many, 1 or 2 hind and front and would you recommend a stud girth as he does tuck up quite a lot in front, dont want him to stud himself and put...
