hmmmm... you wouldnt have an vested interest in the above would you TPO?!!!! seems a bit odd that you would be joining in a rant about one tour even though you say you havent been to it this time and then giving full and precise details of both of the above.....?
hi, have you looked at chalkpit farm stables in bookham? not to be confused with chalkfarm -they are off the main Guildford road and from Wimbledon its about 25 mins to get there door to door? I spent years trying to find a decent yard when I had my horse and lived in central London and this was...
if you are prepared to travel a bit further there is Chalkpit Farm Stables -in Bookham -which is about 10 mins from the A3 and around 20 mins from Wimbledon? fab off road hacking, fantastic small BHS approved yard run by professional friendly staff, lovely liveries, 20 x 60 rubber/sand floodlit...
I live in walton on thames and along with 2 other girls who live in Weybridge -we keep our horses at Chalkpit Farm Stables in bookham - their part livery is a bit more than you have budgeted for, but worth the drive and paying the extra to know that your horse is being looked after...
Hi Fashionable,

I live in London and have had horses based out that way for years -best yard I have ever come across is in bookham (not that far off the A3) - Chalkpit Farm Stables - small BHS approved livery yard -superior individual care -trustworthy friendly helpful staff, all year turnout (half day) and has...
I used sedaline for first few days after my horse did a ligament then used the nettex carl hester calmer daily -i think it helped him as he didnt seem as nuts in the field! Good luck -its a nightmare trying to keep them sane and sensible -especially at this time of year!
what about that new feed by saracen's -shape-up thats supposed to be low sugar etc?
maybe give them a call -they are really helpful -i have rung them a few times with my horse and they couldnt have been nicer!
i have got the leopard print rug version and no mine havent shrunk - he wears them over winter each year -especially good as they cover his fat belly which gets really hairy after clipping otherwise ha ha -worth the money and a good laugh for the stable girls! the hoods are good as the eye holes...
Chalkpit Farm Stables -BHS approved livery yard -Bookham surrey -they occassionally take horses and ponies for backing livery-lovely people/riders and very experienced with youngsters -they won't take on anything that is tricky/quirky though!
try the Net-Tex Carl Hester Calmer - I used it and it worked for me -they also do booster syringe -which you can give without build-up and use for travelling or if they are just excitable at comps (my friend uses it with great success) hope that helps!
