Hi, I'm hoping for some opinions and some people's success stories!
Basically, I've lost loads of confidence jumping for absolutely no reason!! My boy is pretty genuine, although has had some stops which I think is due to my lack of confidence. I've not been having a great time of it...
Just replied to a post in TR about this but this is basically the same hopefully shorter version. A friend has an Equi-Trek (not sure which one but its fairly big). She needed a new side and axle doing and it was going to cost her (£3K!!!!!!!!). She had it from new and it was 6 years old. We...
My DxHanoverian is in an Albion K2. Pretty expensive new but can often pick up a fair price second hand. The only thing that fitted my awkward legs and the fact my boy is probably a tincy bit too small!
A friend of mine has had an Equi-Trek from new for 6 years and recently its needed a new side and axle I think (without having any too bad travelers in it). The only people who will do it are an actual Equi-Trek workshop and they are charging £3K approx!!!! (for a new side and an axle I think)...
Hi everyone, just a catch up as haven't done one for ages! Sorry for the lack of pictures - my mum struggles watching XC let alone remembering to take photos :p
With the Easter holidays, been doing lots with Reggie. First Saturday was a Pony Club SJ clinic - hoping to do teams this year so...
It wasn't due to my horse she was asked to leave, I didn't ask them to get her to go and didn't even talk to any organisers about getting her to go..... I personally, had no impact on that decision, it would have been due to the fact that it was collecting ring full of horses and ponies and a...
Went showjumping today (very unsuccessfully!) and Reggie (gelding) behaved very weirdly, which only occurred when he saw a stallion that was there. Could it be possible he didn't like it because it was a stallion? Have any of yours ever done that?
We were in the warm up and every time this...
Opening meet today on the recently shaved Reggie and probably a day off on Sunday but might have a short hack to stretch his legs. Hope everyone has a good one! :P
Hi, does anyone's Pony Club branch have a junior rep type person? If so, is it successful/beneficial and thoughts about it whether or not you have it? Please!
To me it makes sense as the pony club is FOR young riders, they should have a say in how its run/events/fundraisers etc and have someone...
I have a pair of Aigles now, afraid i can't comment on strength but they're very comfy! this might not make much sense but as they've got quite a thick sole, they will hopefully keep my feet warm! :P
Over rugging it would be crueler! Don't worry, some people are just ridiculous!! You and your horse are happy with your decision so it shouldn't be anyone else's concern! :D
