I have a talented young horse who is a bit quirky to jump I wonder if you could recommend a lady show jumping rider based Herts/Beds area who would jump him for me? Either come to my yard or I could box him somewhere. Thanks
He is 7 but low mileage and I would only be insuring for £1k for vets fees so don't need vets certificate for that. Do you know what they cover on a 2 stage vetting? I'm not sure whether it would be better to pay for xrays and 2 stage or no xrays and 5 stage?
I'm going to a 3rd viewing of a horse to buy this Sunday and if all goes well then i'm going to make and offer and get him vetted. Although i have had horses all my life I have never actually bought one myself so this is new and exciting. So my question is what is the difference between 2 and...
I'm going Sunday :) it is my local venue very friendly and well run. I wouldn't say the jumps are massive just normal not too spooky in the earlier classes prob about 30-40 per class it usually gets quieter for the bigger classes.
Excited about this one as off to herts county show Saturday to jump and hopefully it won't rain this year :) my boy is sadly up for sale so this might be out last show together so we want to go out with a bang!
Not sure about Bury Farm sorry! But what about Patchetts? They have the Area 39a show on Sunday with a 1m10 open and a Fox/1m20 open I don't reckon that will be built too strong. I know it is on grass but usually Vicerage Farm isn't too strong. Good Luck
I went last year and it was a great show. Every class is very fast as you would expect! I was in the 1m20 package so ended up jumping very late every day which was annoying and the ground was quite churned up by then. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the weather was good which...
Thanks I will try poles i'm just a bit worried he might take on the pole and fence in one! I will just have to hold on tight first time round :)
I can't do loose jumping not allowed at my yard.
