Pad & bandages - how much to post?

Thanks, I am going to send it by myhermes though as won't be able to get to a post office. Ebay varies so much... People just tend to put in free postage & include it in the auction price...Just need a rough ballpark as I have no idea!

Pad & bandages - how much to post?

A lady has bought a dressage saddlecloth (quite thick - HKM gently with fleece lining) and 4 polo bandages from me for £30 plus postage - how much do you think I should charge for postage? I have no idea!

Thanks guys. Where does one buy their HKM? Annnnd where can I get Eskadron for £25 - everywhere I have seen them for £30++? Pref somewhere that doesn't sting you on the postage or is happy to combine postage if I buy a few. Need pointers please!! I have been used to Equiport so this is a whole...

    Everyday saddlecloth help...

Thanks all. Have had a look at the LeMieux, have my eye on the grey one which I may just have to have! But a little pricey as I need to buy 5 or 6. Should have mentioned that in my original post really! Has anyone had any experience of the mark todds? Seen some from an ebay shop for £25 - more...

    Everyday saddlecloth help...

I need some recommendations for some quality every-day saddlecloths. They need to be dark colours, dressage cut, the thin cotton type so as not to affect saddle fit but also super hard wearing & wash well as we have an industrial washing machine at the yard that is not kind to saddlecloths...

Call me crazy BUT... would this work?

It's something to look at if the above doesn't work :) My poor bank balance! I have tried nearly all the long versions... just want to trial the short version incase that makes a difference. Probably not, but worth a shot before I spend thousands on a WOW. God, I wish that's all I'd seen...

    What's the highest you've jumped?

Biggest courses I have jumped were on ponies! POYS Talentspotters classes (4 over 5 days I think) in 2005 with a 14.2hh... a v.strong 1.20m in the first round, think in the third round it reached 1.35m, I didn't get that far though!! On horses the biggest course I have done is 1.15m (jump off...

Call me crazy BUT... would this work?

Thanks, I have tried it already and hated it! It didn't help my saddle slipping woes, plus I thought it was really bulky and I didn't like the quality of it for the price. Yup if it works then I will look at the long girth strap option - just want to check and see if it works first. I'd be...

Call me crazy BUT... would this work?

Despite being slightly scarred for life after googling 'girth extender' (eeeeeeeeeeeeeek, do NOT do it!), I think you may have just made my day!! Off to purchase, thank you so much!

Call me crazy BUT... would this work?

I have tried a million different things that haven't worked so far, so am thinking there is probably a 90% chance this set up won't work either - therefore don't want to alter my saddle too dramatically, just want to trial it. Of course if it does/did work then I would look at altering the...

Call me crazy BUT... would this work?

Not sure if anyone has been following my posts regarding my ridiculous shape little horse... basically she has an extremely forward girth groove, with a set back shoulder making her a saddle fitters worst nightmare. There seems to be an abundance of C shaped girths in a short length but...

    Shout out to non-horsey OH!

Mine doesn't like horses at all! He calls my mare the 'cretin', but apart from that is pretty supportive. Not very good at jump putting up, but drives the lorry and is good at holding and fetching things :)

Would you buy a second hand rug that needs cleaning?

Pretty shocked that people would buy second hand rugs & NOT wash them before they used them!? You don't know where it's been - horse could have had ringworm/lice?! As well as the reasons above, there are so many good deals online now that I don't think I would buy a second hand rug - unless it...
