I buy pure dried DC off E-bay and make a wee "tea" from it with hot water then leave to cool then pop in their tea. much cheaper this way a 1kg bag last a Shetland and tb cross 4mths. Works well for my older two I ran out just after Christmas and I could really see a difference the week they had...
My old Shetland wearing a weatherbeeta no fill landa, in this rain and is bone dry under it. I think it would be 1200D, he's in at night so not on 24hrs.

I am in Moray Which is desperate for good farriers. I am very lucky and have an amazing farrier who comes from Skye and is worth every penny! he comes to me every 6wks. He works his way down through the Highlands, Moray and then in to Aberdeenshire then back the way again on his way home.
