My boy is currently undergoing treatment by my vet for three sarcoids he has on his sheath, we are using the Liverpool cream which I am told has be made at the maximum strength which is what we needs for his type of sarcoid. My issue is that we are having real problems applying the cream he has...

I get my mares Danilon from my local pharmacy, as part of their service they deliver it to the yard for me too :D Not sure if they would get bute but it's worth a shot might also be a bit cheaper than online too.

my horse doesnt get a dirty willy he just gets a dirty greasy sheath (so when he lies down it leaved greasy patches on the inside of his legs) which he has no problem with me cleaning :rolleyes: I was advised by a vet to only ever use water as you will upset the natural bacteria

Thanks for your reply, I am very midful of his management he already had a high fibre, low grain diet and I do all of the usual hay before riding, etc to the point where I can't do any more... He is giving mild reactions to the pressure points but not all so the supplement was my last resort...

Thank you for your responses, I know GG is the only think that will cure them but I am not in a position to buy that at present so I am just looking to see if a supplement eases his symptons (which are very mild) and then we may have a clearer idea if that is what is bothering him.

My horse has suspected gastric ulcers :( I haven't had him scoped yet and I know if he has them I will need to get Gastroguard but in the meantime I would like to put him on a gastric supplement to see if I see any changes could anyone recommend any to me? Many thanks :)

Sounds to me like he's tyed up too I'm suprised your vet didnt come out straight away and take blood whilst his enzymes were high and even to give him some pain relief. My boy has Auzotoria and PSSM but hasnt tyed up for many years due to my management of it please feel free to PM me if I can...
