In the words of my farrier "if theres no obvious cuts or swelling always call the farrier" and I have to say every time any of mine have been lame its been to do with feet, maybe I have just been very lucky !
Oh Im glad other people have had nice pacers, mine is fab and will gallop down a field in a group or wait at the top until the others have finished or take a child on a pony down for a canter. He does have a 'strange' jump but that doesnt bother me as he 17 now and has always taken good care of...
