I've waited a long time for this - Sophie's first NOVICE event report!

She looks lovely and must have gone well. Congrats! I w/d my Junior * horse just before the xc, as he is going to PC Champs on Thurs and due to ground/not brilliant course we didn't feel he needed the run, unfortunate as he has been leading! New horse didn't like the piano key corner, so had a...

    Meet the new horse

She's lovely. All these 4yo Mares (yours and BradfordQueens) makes my frankie seem very immature! She is still at the stage where shortening is verging on the impossible, and the sight of a fence reduces her to a charging (on the forhand) loony! I hope i can make some progress and post some pics...

    PC Champs!

I went last year to support - and party - with others, but never ridden (exept Nov. Champs. at smallwood few years ago). Look for a blonde girl on a demented grey, doing dressage not up to the standard of you english! Oh and the journey is actually quite fun, usually!

those of you with steel grey horses

Well possibly not, my horse is 12 and still pretty dark! I absolutly love it, and actually I was asked today was he a baby!

    Gatcombe report - Gutted

I have been told many times today, "The bad days are what make good days great". Sorry to hear about your day! I can sympathise. New dun horse, (6yo, first event - pre-nov) was second going out XC having done a nice test and SJ clear, then was eliminated at a corner, just didn't want to know! I...

Antares Vs Devoucoux dressage saddles ???

Devoucoux, I have 2 jumping and one dressage and I adore them, also any body who has ridden in them tells me how comfy they are! Devoucoux also use the same leather as Louis Vuitton, where as Antares leather is much finer - not as hard wearing.

    FAO Keehl and Varkie

[ QUOTE ] Thing is, most vets wouldn't know what a buckskin was if it bit them! So I don't think I'd necessarily say that was set in stone, on the basis of their say so. [/ QUOTE ] How is it possible to care as much as this Varkie?
