    Strimmer for buttercups.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago for the garden, it has plastic blades, thought I would give it a try up the field. I cut down the nettles and the thistles and the odd young dock it worked really well, is very light to use and the charge lasts a good 35 minutes plus. I was worried the...

    Recommend me…a haynet filler !

My hay shed has a wooden door and I screwed two large cup hooks into the door, works well hooking one side of the hay net on the hooks.

    My hens have been attacked.

Due to avian influenza, all hens should be housed so no wild birds can get in with them to stop the disease from spreading.

    Storage ideas

I use the bucket that has a lid that I have left from the fat balls I buy for the wild birds, it holds 5kg of powdered turmeric.

Royal Windsor Platinum Jubilee ITV coverage

I was glad I recorded it so I could skip through a lot of it, loved the French display and the drummers were fantastic.

I love my Vauxhall van, my son converted it for me to carry my mini Shetlands it's got a small bit of living enough space for me to sit down and have a cuppa also a cupboard built-in for storage etc. Ponies travel sideways in it and travel really well wouldn't be without my Shetmobile :)

Could you perhaps get two Shires 30" 5cm holed ones and put one inside each other? plenty of them for sale on good old eBay.

    Wellies

Glad to hear they are ok ordered myself a pair on Wednesday and had an email they should be arriving on Tuesday, I have gone for purple ones as well. Hoping they are going to be a bit warmer than my old basic cheap wellies never spent so much on a pair of wellies :)

    Rosette display idea

I bought a roll of cheap non-slip matting from eBay got a garden cane and sewed it across the top and put a bit of ribbon on it. Cost me about £3, luckily rosettes mostly come with a hook on the back so you can just poke it through one of the holes.
