More on the expensive side, but a worthy investment, i think (they're just the best), Pikeur does slim fit Lugana breeches - and they come in longer leg length, too, so good for the lanky among us! http://www.classicdressage.com/catalog/product.php?CI_ID=560
I LOVE my brown Bromonts and think you should definitely consider them - LOOK they're on offer here for (just) under £200! http://www.naylors.com/women/footwear/riding-boots/ariat-bromont-tall-h2o-waxed-chocolate-non-insulated
Hi there,
I recently went on this excellent rider confidence course which included hypnotherapy:http://www.horsebackcombat.co.uk/Rider-Confidence-Courses.html - I found it really helpful with my confidence issues, and it sounds like it could suit your friend.
So brilliant to see s/j on the BBC. So sad to see so many empty seats in the arena, though. I looked at buying tickets but they were horrifically expensive. I thought the GCT coming to central London was supposed to be this opportunity to capitalise on the success of the Olympics and bring...
That's the spirit!!!
Also, there's some useful tips here http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/ten-rules-for-training-a-retired-racing-greyhound.html
And also some sighthound-specific sites like www.lurcherlink.org and the Greyhound Rescue people...
Hi OP,
Sorry to hear you're having a rough time.
One thing I'd say re greyhound training - sighthounds are generally perceived to be very sensitive creatures, so being "strict" with training, rather than gently encouraging the dog, so it feels like it's doing its own bidding, can have a...
Oh, yes, they do. They emailed me to follow up and see how it was going, and when i said he wouldn't eat it, they suggested the whole "leave the food down for 10 mins, if the dog doesn't eat it within that time then take it away", but i wasn't happy to do that. He's not a particularly fussy...
Haha - yes, it's not the cheapest. I've been round the houses to find a feeding regime that would suit my sensitive stomached lurcher. Am now trying cooking for him myself, which seems to be doing the trick (hurrah!) and is cheaper than the Honeys diet (which was going to work out approx £85 /...
Yep, I tried that - he saw straight through it. I even tried going back on cooked food, and stewing the honeys meal up with lots of lovely "straight" mince and vegetables, but he saw straight through that, too! There must be something - a herb or whatever - in it that he really objects to...
Does anyone here feed their dog with Honey's (formerly Darlings?)
I bought 2 weeks worth with view to starting my boy on it, but he doesn't like it at all. Was quite happy eating raw mince/veggies if i gave them to him, but there's something about the Honeys that he just objects to.
So...
Please help! Can anyone recommend a good boot repairer I can send my long leather boots to for re-heeling, new soles, and one new zip? Somewhere with a speedy service and v high quality repairs?
I went to this place http://www.waitalittle.co.za in South Africa for the first time as a Holiday of a Lifetime in 2007 and am about to go back for my fourth time this November.
It is a truly magical, utterly amazing place. Wonderful horses, a fast safari - lots of fast gallops, and...
