ventipulmin is £60 for a tub which lasts roughly 3 weeks. Ive got some left over from last year. I keep getting horses with breathing problems maybe Im a magnet for them.

Getting vet out tomorrow but I think hes allergic to rapeseed at the yard in which case do I send him back or move yards? Yes I had bloods done. I cant really afford the meds that he might have to have.

Ive had the horse a month and this week Ive noticed heavy breathing and I can see a heave line so would I be able legally to send the horse back? I bought him from someone who sells a few horses.

Thanks catherine. I think hes going to be going back. Ive only had him four weeks and hes started with this. What I cant understand is why did he pass a 5 stage vetting with no mention of bad breathing and then two weeks later his breathing starts getting worse.

I know how you feel Kokopell. Ive lost the enthusiasm too and Im not having a great time with yards at the moment.

Ok thanks. He was really fit but due to various issues he has been ridden/worked for about a week and a half in that month. He is put on a bit of weight in the month and hes lost a shoe so cant do any roadwork.
