Hi, does anyone know of a mobile mechanic in kent, that will travel to near Maidstone to change shocks on my daf 45? I've had a go myself, but the nuts are seriously tight even with tonnes of wd40. Thanks.
My 29 year old TB is turned out, but to be honest lives in it at night, with heaviest liner and 200g neck cover, but I've just given her a blanket clip, as she gets soo excited when ridden she comes back sweaty if I didn't clip.
I found small stones regularly in my horses buckets when I fed Alfa A and Fibremix. So would think it's the Dengie brand that's at fault. Now feed Mollichaff complete feed and I never find any stones
I use Andrew Reilly. Yes he does like his pads, but from my exerience he only uses them when he can't get the saddle fitted to it's best, and the client can't/won't change the saddle. It's not that the saddle is incorrect, just not perfect.
He is very busy and you do need to book him in...
I use a mullen triple barrell full cheek myler with one hook for the reins. My reins sit nicely and flat, no curve showing. The reins need to be fitted, as said above, with the rein on the outside of the bit, so you shouldn't see the whole of the bit ring when looking at it from the side.
Pink powder is excellent if there is a digestive problem. It's description is as follows:
Pink Powder contains live probiotic yeast and prebiotics to optimise gut function and balance the diet, allowing your horse to fully utilize his feed intake and gain perfect condition.
It is designed so...
If he is doing well on the feed why change it? You could cut it by half, and monitor his weight that way. If he starts to lose condition you can easily increase his feed, as you know this is a successful feed for him.
Much easier than trying to find another feed, introducing gradually...
It's called an Inverter, although it probably wouldn't run a kettle.
From memory, which isn't that good, you can run up to 180 watts from the cigarette lighter. Anything more than that and you're looking at attaching it directly to a seperate battery. Inverters come in different watts and...
I use Jeyes fluid, and although this may look a bit odd, I use a mob and bucket. Makes so much less mess than buckets of water or the hose.
I flip the mats over, mop the underside of them and the floor, then flip them back again. Best buy this year lol.
I changed my trailer floor to an aluminium one. Took the old wooden floor out, that was the most difficult bit.
Make sure you have several drills, one to drill the holes and one to screw the screws in with. Also need to pop rivet the extra pieces that come with the kit.
It wasn't difficult...
Both my horses use Myler bits. My old TB mare goes very nicely in her comfort snaffle. She was very strong and I used to jump her in a loose ring with market harborough as she threw her head in the air and you could not hold her. Now she is in her comfort snaffle, cavesson and no martingale...
I've used C from S. She messed up my horses saddle. How did I know? My horse became un-rideable.
Ken from S came out when I complained about it, it was the second fitter from his establishment that had messed up my saddle. He gave me a new saddle in replacement for the one I bought from...
