Anyone got a wessex trailer? What do you think of it?

I've got a Wessex Olympian and love it! Everyone comments on how much nicer it is than the IW's (lighter yet partitions are far more padded and ramp fastnings are easier). The ramp opens onto the passenger side which I prefer! Had it for 4 years and never had any probs with it

Bio light therapy vs magnet therapy

I swear by Biolight ... have had amazing results on a variety of soft tissue injuries. I tend to get someone who has the full package to come out, they scan the whole body, locate problem areas (not usually where you expect them!) and then specifically treat these. On one occassion, a horse...

    dressage saddle with flair

I have an Albion Dressage with Flair and I love it! I tried a Flair on a jumping saddle and hated it ... but it just seems to work better in the dressage saddle! I get mine checked/adjusted maybe once a year at cost of £40, but usually only if the horse has changed shape or the balance of the...

How much do you pay for your horse to be shod?

£70 per set, £65 for a refit and £2 per stud hole. I'm in Scotland and thought it would be cheaper here! I think I might move south!

Buying secondhand saddles - please help!

I tend to go to the saddlers and get some second hand saddles to try. Find out which make/size fits best and the look for it on Ebay! Alternatively, make your own template to work out how wide your saddle needs to be and get the sellers to give you good info on measurements between D rings...

    Accondy Youngstock?

I broke in my own Accondy and he was great - very quick learner and exceptionally smart (sometimes too smart for his own good!) Like yours, it is into everything - opens doors/gates, takes headcollars and rugs off other horses in the field and can untie a rope quicker than Houdini! Think they...

Does anyone know anything about Stonegrove Ace, please?

I've got an Accondy out of a Stonegrove Ace mare. He is the absolute spit of Stonegrove Ace though! Is of the large ginger variety but is still pretty lightweight. Is an amazing mover though! Took him ages to grow up and was still growing at 7! In my experience they tend to be pretty quirky...
