I did not actually jump ship..... I did what I set out to do and close BER down.... that happened.... as it was closed, there was no need for trustees, hence resignation, which was also fuelled by the fact that toni could have done all this and never once asked for help, always coming out with...
And all those deaths apart from Holly the Percheron, were after the closure notice and after my resignation..... and as i was not privy to what was going on even more so after resignation i cannot say exactly how many ponies/horses were destroyed.....
In all honesty - who really cares who started it??? The pictures were never disputed, as Lannerch said, it was the ridiculous excuses for their condition!
I for one am actually very pleased that justice has finally been done...... as I said, at the cost of several horses lives.....
The fair point reference being to the being taken in etc. at the end of thje day justice has finally been done, sadly at the loss of a quite a few horses.
Actually being the wonderful con artist that Toni was, I was actually not made privy to anything.... when I asked to see accounts, there were none..... veterinary records.... there were none.... receipts for feed, foot care etc, there were none...... the barbecue wa actually three weeks before...
And which visit was that one? The very first one where Toni Veitch had removed horses prior to the visit so that their condition could not be seen and then leaving them in that field??? Or the visit where I went up with the opinion that the place was to be closed down..... which it was...
Very long story - been going on for years and nothing was ever done and then people involved were labelled as witch hunters and it was a vendetta......
I think this says it all now!!! So it wasnt a vendetta or a witch hunt and to all those that carried on supporting, I hope your all ready to say you were wrong!!!!

Redwings Horse Sanctuary announced on facebook that Esther the donkey had come down with colic and was taken to the horsey hospital for treatment. She is apparently now on the mend but the vets would like to keep a close eye on her, so she would not be able to attend the birthday party that...

Darley do have horses that can jump but they are a minority conpared to those that could be suitable for dressage and hacking...
My ex racer is the most chilled out horse going, a bomb could go off next to him and he wouldn't flinch!!!! my other one on the other hand is a little bit sharper but wouldn't do anything nasty........
I highly recommend Darley rehoming, as that is where my second boy came from......
