PTS and Disposal options around South Denbighshire/Wrexham/Gwynedd borders

I used Oakfield Equine who are in Mid Wales. They only collected for me but they do pts as well. I think they cover quite a large area so may be worth a call. They were absolutely lovely

    Waterproof riding boots

Eileen Douglas Tackshop also has the Ariat Conistons on offer at £194.95, I think, so I’ve finally succumbed and bought a pair.

    Derbymed Cutargent?

I have been using the spray first and rubbing it in leave for a couple of minutes then rub the cream in. It doesn’t seem to leave great bald patches or lift the scabs off wholesale, more chip away at them so im brushing out a load of bits of scab and the last bit only comes off when it’s ready...

    Derbymed Cutargent?

My vet suggested it for a patch of persistent mud fever on my 23 year old mare but it didn’t help. However it turned out that it was not a straightforward (is there ever such a thing?) mud fever. I am currently using it on a patch of rain scald on a younger horse with some success but it could...

    South/West Wales advice please

Ditto this. We are in Ceredigion and according to the OS map there are plenty of footpaths and just about enough bridleways. The story is actually rather different but fortunately the lanes are quiet. If you can, check the definitive ROW map which may be available online and that should tell...

Advice please - best way to teach foal to be alone

Apologies for the slightly rambling nature of this. I bought a foal at the beginning of December so I do appreciate it is still early days. She is kept at home with our two other ridden girls, in at night, daily turnout. I know it’s not ideal that she has no company of her own age but the...

    Groomi tool

I bought one last year - great on the very furry yearling but the thinner coated ones weren’t happy with it as the bits at the edge of the comb are longer and dig in if you’re holding it upright. Wouldn’t bother to replace it.

Lorries built from Cat D donor vehicle

I haven't yet got a specific vehicle in mind. I was just asked if I'd consider one assuming panel damage only and my feeling was that I wouldn't mind necessarily but that resale may be an issue. Obviously the plan wouldn't be to be selling any time soon but you never know ......

Lorries built from Cat D donor vehicle

Thanks all. I will probably err on the side of caution and try and make savings elsewhere.
