The only time I've had to get involved I used my feet, my dog on lead, their dog not, their dog went for mine. I booted it until it left us alone, a shame for the dog, it's the owners fault imo.
I think we're going to see and feel the Police coming down hard once they have the power to enforce the lock down. I've already seen an increased Police presence out patrolling and have heard numerous reports about people being stopped and questioned.
More or less, but she was tetchy most of the time (Described as being mareish, evidently more to it than that).
She always hated me for some reason and would bite me at any given opportunity. Very what could be described as girthy when tacking up (pulling faces, bitey etc), owner suspected...
I wouldn't, I've seen one horse with KS being ridden pre-diagnoses and the explosions that she used to have were horrific to watch, I cannot begin to imagine the pain she was in to warrant that sort of behaviour.
I rate all my Ruggles rugs, all of ours are in 7'3 being draft horses. I do have 2 of their heavy horse rugs in 7'3 and they are massively deep. I don't think twice before ordering from them. I like Ruggles, Weatherbeeta and I really like my one Premier Equine rain sheet.
You need to remember that a hoof takes 9-12 months to grow from top to bottom so I am not sure how much of a difference you would notice this summer.
I swear by micronised linseed for feet and coat, my farrier is also a huge advocate of Kevin Becon's hoof dressing to help keep the hoof...
Having thought about this thread I don't think the horse world is anymore bitchy than others but people are typically confined to smaller spaces and made to be in contact with each other.
This in turn turns to gossip, bitching, bullying etc.
People like some people and don't like others...
It's not something I have or have a desire to have. I don't know much about them, other than what I read last night and it made some sense but not a lot.
Just looking to expand my knowledge really more than anything else.
