I was one of the product testers for this. They gave me a bottle free. I don't believe in supplements generally and as a (lapsed) scientist, I would say that the ingredients look nonsense. But you know what? I swear my horse went better on it, she had arthritic hocks.
I was queen of nosenets when I had my gelding. I found it was the net moving that caused issues. so if I could get it to touch but at a constant amount, it was OK. which is why i used a thick one and a flash to hold it down. There is a cob at my yard who is ridden in one of the bucket nets, he...
I hate the strangles blood test. It's the biggest waste of time and source of stress. Every horse I have ever had tested has been sky high - one was the highest the vet had ever seen - but they were all negative on the guttural pouch wash so try not to worry.
Many years ago I had a bone scan and CT done on a headshaker. it showed nothing apart from more uptake on one side of the bar of the mouth which I think was a result of headshaking against the bit, rather than the cause. It was definitely pollen related but over time it was year round. It was...
I have had 2 have n&f (one after another, because my luck sucks) - both were ultimately retired but it was because the suspensories weren't the only problem. Having said that, i would do the op again, I wouldn't think twice about it, I think it gives the best chance of recovery and both horses...
Sounds familiar, the merry go round of pain management and physio! You definitely need another MRI - make it really clear to the physio that the weakness has come about after another flare up, and this is a new development. You will need to hammer it home because they will probably want to fob...
You need to seek medical attention due to your history as it sounds like it is worsening - not an emergency, but ring dr tomorrow when they open. You are describing partial paralysis here, the collapse is because the nerve serving that muscle is trapped and it is failing further. With nerve...
I had a horse have surgical fusion, he was on the older side but it gave him years of soundness afterwards. It was quite expensive though, I think it came to £5k but there were lameness work ips etc included. There is a month's box rest after because they drill into the bone and you have to have...
I have my mare retired on a huge field in Norfolk. It's not perfect but it's full care for less than £200 a month and the horses are very happy, message me if you want details
This happened to me years ago (including being disqualified at the final trot up on a endurance ride, that we had started sound and made good time) and it was the onset of hock arthritis.

Is in Norfolk so quite remote from you though. My horse was actually here before they built the track but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. They also have normal fields and starvation paddocks if the track doesn't suit.
No direct experience with this dealer but I am in the local area and tbh I'm not surprised. Not got the best reputation. Don't think you'll get a partial refund, best option is to try and return but I would imagine the money has already been spent.
I got this in the spring and have had so much use out of it, I'm really pleased with it. I definitely wouldn't use it on a hot summer's day though, to me it's a waterproof turnout with mesh sides not a fly/ summer sheet really.
